Bladder Exstrophy Treatment in India – Baby Battol Al-Ajni, a 2 and a half year old girl from Oman, suffered from Bladder Exstrophy. It is a rare condition in which the urinary bladder is exposed on the surface. Her case was specially complicated as she had already undergone 4 attempts at repair earlier. She finally found hope at Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai. Under the able supervision of Dr. V. Sripathi, Senior Consultant Pediatric Urologist, she received proper treatment and recovered well.
